Bangladesh lost against South Africa despite a breathtaking fight. Every moment was thrilling towards the very end of the innings. Bangladesh could not win the tense and nerve-wracking match. However, after such a loss, the decision of the umpire has also been questioned.

Bangladesh lost by just 4 runs against South Africa. Chasing 114 runs, they managed to score 109 runs. Mahmudullah Riyad and Tawheed Hriday pair seemed to be very close to the goal. But in the end some decisions of the umpire changed the fate of the match. The second ball of the 17th over of the innings was flicked by Otniel Bartman and Mahmudullah hit Riyad's pads. The ball goes over the boundary. But before that, onfield umpire Sam Nagoski gave out. Then Riyad decided to take a review.

The replay shows that the ball missed the leg stump. The out decision changes. But Bangladesh did not get four runs as the umpire's decision was immediately dead before the ball crossed the boundary. In the end, that was the fate of the match. Tawheed Hriday spoke about this.

In the press conference, he said, "The rules...what the ICC has done is not in our hands." I think the umpire called (out). The umpire may be wrong. They are human too. We had two more wides that didn't deliver. Playing in such a venue here.'

A run or two is a big factor in a low scoring match where there are no runs. I think four runs, two wides was a very close call. My out was the umpire's call. These areas have room for improvement. It is not in our hands that the ICC rules.

Another decision of the umpire went against Bangladesh. Kagiso Rabada's ball in the 18th over was given out by the umpire when it hit the heart pad. Hridoy had to return to the dressing room due to the out umpire's call given without strong appeal. After his departure, Bangladesh lost the match without hitting any more boundaries.

Hridoy said about his out, 'To be honest it was not a good decision for us. It was a breathtaking match.
